SUPPORT

We invite you to join us in supporting one of Northeast Pennsylvania’s most beloved holiday traditions —

Helen Gaus’ The Nutcracker.

Now in its 39th year, Scranton Civic Ballet Company’s annual production of Helen Gaus’ The Nutcracker will take place on December 12th and 13th at The Theater at North. This timeless performance continues to bring the magic of dance to audiences of all ages, creating treasured memories and inspiring a lasting appreciation for the arts.

Since its founding in 1978 by Miss Helen Gaus, Scranton Civic Ballet Company has been the city’s leading institution for dance education and performance. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our mission is to educate both our members and the public about the art of dance, and to provide exceptional, accessible training to students of all ages, abilities, and income levels.

Your contribution plays a vital role in sustaining this mission. Each year, the generosity of our sponsors and donors allows us to keep ticket prices affordable and to present our “Eye on Dance” educational performance — a free performance attended by more than 800 local students. For many of these children, it is their first introduction to the beauty, discipline, and joy of ballet.

Your support helps us preserve this beloved Scranton tradition while inspiring the next generation. We would be deeply grateful for your consideration in supporting this year’s production. Together, we can ensure that the magic of Helen Gaus’ The Nutcracker continues to enrich the cultural life of our community for years to come.

With sincere appreciation,
Scranton Civic Ballet Company
